Cāmuṇḍā („Chamunda“) is one of the fierce Tantrik goddesses. Contrary to most other goddesses, She is usually depicted as an emaciated, old goddess, in a graveyard or cremation ground and surrounded by ghosts, jackals and other creatures.
She is undoubtedly a powerful goddess, one not to be taken lightly. She is the goddess of annihilation, “She who makes all things one within herself”. She demands, and brings, absolute commitment to truth, nonattachment, wrathful compassion, amongst other virtues.
It is generally not recommended to directly call Her into your life, for the forceful and powerful changes that may follow are not to be underestimated. But, as with all gods and goddesses, She may one day just show up.
These images are for such a case.
